The Magic of Stories
The Magic of Stories, presented by children’s author Lady Sarah, is a school assembly presentation designed to encourage young readers to become great storytellers.
Eccentrically fun and bubbling with energy, Lady Sarah is a captivating personality that students find both entertaining and motivating. She was born in London, England and traveled the world before settling in Michigan where she keeps busy as an author, actress, and entertainer.
In The Magic of Stories program, Lady Sarah shares her passion for writing and creative storytelling through an interactive and fast-paced presentation created just for elementary school audiences.
Students of every reading level will be inspired as Lady Sarah shares how she became an author, even though she was diagnosed with the learning disorder Dyslexia and struggled with reading most of her life. During the program, Lady Sarah shares how her stories and illustrations come together and give students tips and encouragement for helping to create their own exceptional stories.
Designed to tie into the core reading and writing curriculum for elementary grade levels in new and exciting ways, The Magic of Stories teaches story structure (Beginning, Middle, End) and the essential components of any story (Characters, Location, Action, Outcome)in ways are fun and relatable to kids.
There is plenty of surprises, silliness, and interaction with the audience to keep both younger and older readers entertained and leave them energized about reading and creative writing.

Praise for our school assembly programs:
"Your presentation was informative, well-paced, entertaining, and contained just the right amount of silliness to keep the entire school engaged throughout the show. My staff was very pleased with what they viewed as a very good use of time and assembly funds."
