African American Artists, Inventors, and Musicians school assemblies are creative and entertaining presentations that many schools choose as part of their Black History Month enrichment programming.

The show title says it all, as this exciting performance showcases influential African American inventors, artists, and musicians through captivating multi-media presentations, live music, audience participation, and eye-catching visual props. Presented by an award-winning artist and published children's illustrator from Michigan, this show highlights inventors Garrett Morgan and George Washington Carver, as well as visual artists Jacob Lawrence and Romare Bearden. The finale of this interactive program is a tribute to musicians Muddy Waters, Stevie Wonder, and John Lee Hooker that will have everyone clapping and singing along.

The content and information presented in this program are customized for the grade levels in attendance. This program has been a hit with elementary, middle school, and high school audiences across the country.
