Frequently Asked Questions About The "Celebrate The Earth" School Assembly Program...
Can we book this program for Earth Day?
Of course...but be aware that Earth Day (and the entire Earth Week) usually are booked by September or October. So, if your school is interested in an Earth Day assembly, be sure to contact us early to avoid missing out. We only require a $75 deposit to reserve the date. The balance can be paid to the presenter the day of the show.
If you miss out on Earth Day or Earth Week dates, keep in mind that the messages in this program are relevant any time during the school year. It is a great "kick-off" program for Michigan "Green School" initiatives or school-wide projects about environmental stewardship.
What topics are covered in this environmental assembly?
As an envrionemental educator for children, Joe has the ability to incorporate many different messages into his elementary school presentations. He makes sure the topics discussed are grade level appropriate and engaging for the audience. If you have a specific request or environmental topic you would like emphasized, just let us know.
Do we have to provide anything special for the assembly?
Just the audience! Joe, the musician, will bring everything else he needs to put on the presentation - including the sound system.
We are doing Green School certification, can this program tie into that initiative?
Yes! This school assembly is the perfect tie-in to Michigan and Ohio schools that are working to be "Green" and environmentally friendly. This assembly can help satisfy the Green School certification requirement of having an environmental enrichment program or guest speaker.
Where does this presenter travel to? Do we have to pay travel costs?
This professional children's musician lives in Michigan (Metro Detroit Area). He currently performs in schools in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and in the Chicagoland area. Midwest School Shows does not charge any travel expenses or fees for any of our programs. The fee we quote you is the total fee you pay. No surprises! :)
Do you have any other Envrionmental based shows?
We do have several professional school show presenters with environmental shows. The "Think Green: A Healthy Planet Show" focuses on the "4 Rs" of thinking green - Recycling, Reducing, Reusing, Reducing.
