More about this program...
The Dollars and Sense assembly program contains concepts, themes and
entertainment elements that are specifically targeted towards K-6 grade
audiences and complement money and math curriculum required by many Michigan school districts. The show is designed such that
it can be presented as an "all school" assembly with all grade levels
present, or it can divided into a lower and upper elementary presentation.
For schools with more than 300 students, we strongly recommend that you
schedule more than one program on the same day. Having smaller audiences in
the assembly programs allow for the children to connect more with the
presenter and stay focused.
Many schools choose to include this show as a kick-off to school-wide "business" projects or coordinate with grade level curriculum about money. The universal lesson about saving and spending wisely, however, is appropriate for students at any time of the year.
As budgets for Michigan school shows, and enrichment programs across Ohio and Illinois are getting tighter, we work closely with schools to make our programs affordable. Block booking discounts are available to all school districts who book the Dollars and Sense presentation into more than one school on the same day or on back to back days. This discount results in a minimum of a $100 savings for both schools. Additionally, lower fees are available when you are able to schedule a program to coincide with a time when the performer will be traveling to your area. For schools in metro Detroit and Northern Ohio, we have a sponsor for the Dollars and Sense show gives instant grants to any school in these areas who book this assembly program.
This school show presentation is exclusive to the Michigan and Midwest School Show Guide! Additional programs from this presenter include: Social Studies Blast game show, Halloween Harvest Magic Show, and the Cool Tricks and Funny Stuff show for family nights.
