Rosco's Reading is Fun Show

Presented by the spokesperson for the Macomb County Literacy Program!

This highly acclaimed reading show is designed for elementary students in grades K-6, and features the talents of Michigan's favorite children's entertainer, Rosco. As the official spokesperson for the Macomb County Read To Me Literacy program, Rosco has the know-how to get students excited about reading.

A show with diverse student appeal, Rosco's Reading is Fun program will dazzle and delight both upper and lower elementary audiences with a blend of magical tricks, jokes, story telling, and sing-a-longs that get audiences excited about books.

During the program, Rosco will:

• Share how he learned about becoming an entertainer by reading a book.
• Explain how everyone can learn to LOVE to read.
• Invite students to share their favorite characters.
• Teach about the different types of books. (biography, non fiction, dictionary, reference)
• Encourage discussion on the importance of reading directions first.

It is the mixture of good natured children's entertainment with the important reading message that makes this show a "must have" in your school enrichment program. Rosco brings all the equipment and set-up he needs for a top-notch performance, all you have to do it sit back and enjoy the show!
